DPM and MSSQL AlwaysOn in Untrusted\trusted domain

Hi all.I have DPM 2012 R2 in one AD forest with latest updates and UR and i have two MS SQL 2014 servers in  AlwaysOn AG in another forest.

I tried configure authentication by local user and DPM see my two MS sql server, but i don't see databases added to AAG. It sees only local databases.

This article explicitly doesn't tell do i need configure certificate authentication or make relationships between tw AD forest.

Can you advice what is requirements for DPM\MSSQL2014 AAG if they located in different AD forests?

Hi,

Its sounds like a permission issue. Are there any warnings or errors in the event log on your SQL-servers?

My best guess is that the account running the DPM-agent does not have necessary permissions on the SQL-instances.
